Working in partnership with their General Practitioner, Patient Advocates incorporates the best of both allopathic (western medicine) and natural medicines. We require all new clients to fill out a health questionnaire and return it to us before the initial consultation.
The initial consultation takes about an hour and includes a discussion around your symptoms, how progesterone works, and an individualized treatment plan including nutritional supplementation. A recommendation is then sent to your GP in order for you to get a prescription for the bio-identical progesterone cream.
It is important to repeat hormone levels at regular intervals to maintain ongoing and correct use of bio-identical hormones. Too high progesterone level symptoms are the same as those experienced when levels are too low. Regular follow up means we can adapt the treatment plan and make any other changes ( e.g. introduce other hormones) needed to ensure continued health and wellbeing.
